So, Amelie’s gameplay is like her luck: predictably unpredictable. There are also instances where it can heal. She also has instances where she throws her spear and it gets stuck to the ground, but lightning comes into effect. She spins and lobs her spear, so it’s sort of like a combination of both Yelsy and Raoul’s gameplays. She fights much differently than Yelsy and Raoul. I’m liking Falk a lot more now.Īmelie’s gameplay is pretty interesting. Despite his gruff exterior, he’s soft on the inside. The moment he stared at her trembling figure was sweet. While other chapters have him annoyed at Amelie, he’s still annoyed by her here the only difference that he does develop a respect for her that he would never admit later on. The bickering between Amelie and Falk is hilarious, but it also gives Falk some depth. Although she’s kind, she’s extremely clumsy that the kids are actually on their guard for whenever Amelie does a task. She joined to earn money for the shelter. It’s mainly character-driven as we see why Amelia joined the military and how kind she is. Fortunately, Amelia is accompanied by Falk for the battles. The fighting starts around Chapter 3 when the usual beast attacks happen. The first two chapters have no fighting and it’s just Amelia doing errands. The episode mainly takes place in two locations: in the children’s home where she and Falk lived in and on the boat. It makes you wonder who would win in a battle of luck between her and Colette. From finding a rare antique coin to encountering a kraken, it’s just one misadventure after another. This entire episode is just how wacky Amelie’s luck can be. It has nothing to do with the overall military plot of the story other than showing how Team Laurence was formed. Yes, it’s a heartwarming, feels-good episode and I do like it. I’ll be honest here: this episode is pointless.
